2.9l v8? Isnt that pretty small for a v8? I have never heard of a smaller displacement v8, except for the miniature YouTube engine builds.

Ford hit 212 mph in 1967 with the GT40 Mk IV. Granted it wasn’t a car open to the public, I think it’s still worth noting.
