After being hit from behind by competitor Danny Steyn at Watkins Glen, Miata driver Leland Englebardt's car was launched into the air before hitting an Armco barrier
The uploader - Steyn himself - expresses concern in the video description about the kerbs at Watkins Glen, which launched his fellow racer’s car into the air. “The curbing could possibly launch a car over the ARMCO barriers into the crowds and I suggest that Watkins Glen seriously rethink this curbing,” he says. Although Englebardt’s car didn’t jump the barrier, he was badly injured in the crash, suffering multiple fractures. Here’s hoping he has a swift recovery.
