Today's Community Question: Which car stereotypes are the most unwarranted?
The automotive community is a supportive network of car guys/girls who all share the same passion for four wheels. But that doesn’t stop us disagreeing from time to time, with many of these disagreements stemming from common stereotypes.
The automotive community is a supportive network of car guys/girls who all share the same passion for four wheels. But that doesn’t stop us disagreeing from time to time, with many of these disagreements stemming from common stereotypes. I mean, how many times have you heard that ‘MX-5s are for hairdressers’ or that ‘all Hondas are ricers’?
Granted these quips can be funny, and they’re usually made in good jest (we’ve done it plenty), but we want to know which stereotypes CTzens think are unfair and undeserved? Let us know in the comments below!

If you drive a car nicer than mine you have a small wiener, or something along those lines
French cars are unreliable, it’s not true. German are not any better.
Oh and the stereotype that BMW drivers don’t use turn signals. It’s rubbish, I have seen 2 of them using blinkers in 2 days. Mind you, one was going straight with a blinker so maybe they don’t know how to use it :P
The one that gets me the most is that “Asians can’t drive”
“All Hondas are ricers,” “All imports are ricers,” “Hondas are gay,” “Muscle ALWAYS beats import,” “Convertibles are girl cars,” “Wagons and hatches are soccer mom cars”
Opels are worse than VW’s… bullshit. Quite in the same league in quality
I have one! All Honda’s are gay
The classic mommavan…
“If you don’t eat your vegetables you’ll drive one of those wagon cars the rest of your life”
Pick-up/SUV drivers are assholes,Young people with fancy rides are drugdealers, that drop top BMW/Merc is you’re fathers car?
Wagons are slow😂 b*tch please
