This Mutant BMW 1-Series Drift Car Has An E92 M3 Front And An LS3
There’s quite a lot going on here, right? Not only does this mutant BMW 1-series having a gigantic rear wing, it also has an “M3 E92 front” - we’re not sure if that means just body parts, or if more from M Division’s previous-generation coupe has been carried over.
Either way, it looks brilliantly mad (even if those front wings don’t exactly fit with the 1-series doors), and it’s been suitably amped-up in the engine department too: pop the E92 bonnet and you’ll find an LS3 V8.
The 6.2-litre engine puts out 500bhp, meaning driver Diego Quaranta is able to get the back end out with ease.
Have you seen a madder 1-series than this? For us, the only thing that comes close is the twin-supercharged, V10-engined ‘150i‘ we saw a couple of years ago.
