If You Go Car Spotting In South Korea, You’ll Get Bored Very Quickly
On a recent trip to Seoul, Doug DeMuro thought he'd see what sort of cars populate the local roads. He wasn't particularly impressed with what he found...
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

My brother was stationed in Seoul for about 5 years, according to him a lot of Koreans or opposed to Japanese products for some sociopolitical reasons that are probably way over my head, but yea you’ll rarely see modded Z-cars, Civics or Skylines, there is an underlying car culture in Korea it just consists on 95% Genesis’ and Tuscanis (Tibourons) the other 5% is like M3s and other German performance cars, and they do drift outside the citys

Ever heard of hongkong?yeah try not go there

I’d ship over a bright yellow 90’s dodge viper and soak in all the staring.
Here we observe an invasive specie of german origins trying to blend in with its surroundings
Coming from someone who lives in seoul and spots supercars almost everyday, I think Doug may be a little off. Yes there are indeed millions of silver/black/white kia’s, hyundai’s but there are also many other supercars (lamborgini, ferrari, MANY PORSCHE, tesla, amg-series everything, the list goes on and on. Car spotting in korea isn’t as bland as he says it is.
Lol, He should try Costa Rica… Is that but 10 years back, only old hyundais, Toyota and nissan.
The only super cars are like 3 ferraris, 1 lamborghini (ilegal and broken) and a LFA in the entire country.
All of those are only use like 3 times a year in the only “race track”
you know how in racing games that have traffic, all the traffic is a select few models of cars? If you go to the nicer part of the city (in games that have it), the cars can sometimes look better?
Ya, this proves this world is the Matrix. The machines created Korea first, and that’s why the majority of the cars are a select few models, and only in a few colors. Korea hasn’t received the patch to get more cars. Those people in the Fords, and the Dodge were hackers.

That’s because they already have enough Seoul.
