1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427/450HP 4 Speed

It was late at night, and I couldnt sleep, I opened the computer and browsed hemmings, ebay, auto scout, as I always did at night. When suddenly, there She was, I still remember the first picture I saw on ebay. the bidders were within a couple of 1000 dollars of the buy it now tag. I thought of all the cars that slipped away, and I didnt want this one to go, I knew if I didn`t go for it, in the morning she would have been gone. This car is a sensation, the side pipes are amazing, the big Block 427 pulls like a train and the car only weighs 1430kg….the engine was dynoed in 2004 at around 440-460hp… the skinny tires are a handfull. but I think they fit the classic look. Manual steering, manual brakes, a real drivers car!
