The legendary street circuit at Macau is so narrow that if one car crashes, usually everyone behind them is going to crash too.

Big accidents are a pretty common occurrence each year, and the 2017 event has been no exception. In the qualifying race for the GT3 World Cup, Dani Juncadella was running fourth when he crashed his Mercedes at one of Macau’s many tight, blind corners. One driver’s mistake turned into a 16-car pile-up as most of the cars behind him ploughed into the melee.

Unsurprisingly, the race was stopped to clean up the carnage, with only eight cars able to take the restart.
