Ubisoft Has Announced That The Crew 2 Is Coming Soon

Following on from 2014âs open-world racing game The Crew, publisher Ubisoft has now announced a sequel â The Crew 2.
We donât know much about the new game so far, apart from that fact itâs called The Crew 2 and will be released at some point in the next year. Oh, and also the logo.
It was revealed as part of Ubisoftâs 2017 fiscal year earnings report, so we can presume it will be released by the end of the current fiscal year â March 2018.
The gameâs official Twitter account then shared the logo and said: âBeyond the road⊠stay with us for more high-octane thrills.â
With this, we can assume the new game may focus a bit more on off-road driving and racing, in a similar way to the hints weâve had for the next Need for Speed game.
So, weâll have to wait and see what else is revealed in the coming months, but itâs certainly good news for racing gamers that The Crew 2 will arrive fairly soon (for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC we imagine).

Thereâs also the question of where itâll be set, with the original â reportedly played by over 12 million online players â having a vast (but scaled down, obviously) open-world recreation of the USA.
A few people have suggested Europe which would make some sense with Ubisoft being a French game publisher, and theyâve already covered the US.
Expect to hear more about The Crew 2 at Ubisoftâs E3 conference on the 12 June, where we will probably get our first details of the game.

If a Ford Explorer is in one of the hype photosâŠ..donât waste your time.
Maybe it wonât be as tedious and boring to get money in the sequel. I enjoyed The Crew, but getting cash was just so difficult.
Iâve been play the original one for ever and the game biggest failing is itâs lack of player base and community. Anyone remember NFSWorld? it had itâs fair share of problems. Most of the cars drove and sounded the same or were horribly under or over powered. And donât even get me started on the games visuals. It looked like NFSMW.2005 with a couple graphic and texture mods. But no one cared because it was massively fun. The crew just isâint youâll drive for hours and never see another player and on a map as vast as the crews thatâs just a recipe for disaster.
They could set it in Australia, I canât think of any open-world car game set there!
WaitâŠ
OH MY GOD YES! I love The Crew and I still play it. Iâm really hoping for better physics and much better sound. The RX-7 literally sounded like a Mustang. Also, the map was great but they left out some important cities like Boston, Phoeix, Atlanta.
meh
I hope Ubisoft enables VR View as an Option, I hate having to start up VORPX just to play The Crew 1 somewhat decently. Itâd be so badass to be able to play a driving game like this in VR especially with (most likely) better graphics :D
Hope there will be a steering wheel supportâŠ. I was in for a bad surprise when i connected my G29 with crewâŠ
Waait, it doesnât have it?
I thought it would.
Will you still play the first game
Yeah, I love the first one. What should we wait for as a map? Again the US or the whole world???
