To all APP USERS getting error 400 when you try and post
It won’t let you post due to certain rules about communities, and images and so on.
There should be an explanatory message telling you what to change in your post to let it through, but this is (accidentally) not in the app right now.

The next app update will restore the error messages so you can see why we’re not allowing your posts.
Common errors:
Posting to multiple communities is now not allowed. Please pick just one community.
The News community is currently set to staff-only due to lots of mis-categorised posts. We will make this clearer inside the app in a future update. And hopefully the News community will return to being open at some point.
The Garage community is restricted for “Vehicle” type posts. This has to be done through the “add a car” process for consistency. You can’t put a normal post in that community.
There are a couple of other communities with restrictions that I can’t think of right now (maybe Blog).
Make sure you put a title in your post, and make sure it’s longer than 3 characters. We want interesting, meaningful content so try your best to make your posts as good as they can possibly be.
Swearing in the post title and content will mean your post is rejected.
The maximum file upload size is 7MB - but the app will resize photos for a speedy upload. It’s usually GIFs that have this problem.
Don’t use more than 6 hashtags in your post - title + content combined. Maximum 3 in the title. This isn’t Instagram and we don’t appreciate #spam.

THANK YOU for limiting hashtags! Those get so damn irritating. This is the only place I actually use them. I can be a hipster in the car world, but nowhere else! :D
Good to see the garage is strictly for our cars now, rather than random posts that don’t have to do with that. We need more mods in the Gentleman’s Garage, too… too many off topic posts.
I can’t comment as much text as I want on posts. Is there any kind of limit on symbols one can write in comments? I’m asking this Because I tried to comment and it didn’t let me write enough text and the comment ended up not making any sense

What happens to a post that gets an error message. I spent time writing a post I was proud of just to have it rejected and subsequently it has disappeared.
